How the Targeted State Token Works in N5:
A unit in the Targeted state suffers a -3 MOD to its Saving Rolls against attacks that use the Guided Trait.
Enemies attacking a Targeted unit with a BS Attack using the Speculative Fire trait do so without the usual -6 MOD.
The Targeted state can be removed by performing a successful Reset at WIP -3.
Common Ways to Apply The Targeted Token:
Forward Observer Skill: A successful WIP roll when using the Forward Observer attack will place the enemy into the Targeted state.
Hacking Programs: Certain hacking programs like Spotlight can place an enemy into the Targeted state.
Guided Attacks: Units with Guided Weapons can exploit the Targeted state to launch Guided Missiles or other attacks with improved accuracy.
